Haden attended the University of Florida,Trent Williams jersey where he played for coach Urban Meyer's Florida Gators football team from 2007 to 2009. As a true freshman in 2007, Haden started 12 games at cornerback, missing one game due to an ankle sprain. He became the first true freshman to start a game at cornerback for the Gators on opening day. He finished the season with 63 tackles and an interception.
